BUCHAREST, April 5. /Dunyo IA/. Popular Romanian electronic portals “Bucuresti Business” and “Diplomatic Life” published articles titled “Romania – Uzbekistan: Business Roundtable”, dedicated to the results of the recent Uzbek-Romanian business forum in Bucharest, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The publications note that the meeting held at the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIB) marked an important stage in strengthening the bilateral economic dialogue. The outlets emphasize the strategic importance of direct interaction between the business communities of the two countries.
In particular, the portals quote CCIB President Iuliu Stocklosa, who spoke on the complementarity of the economies of Romania and Uzbekistan. The article highlights that each country possesses resources and capabilities able to satisfy the needs of the partner, thereby creating a solid foundation for a sustainable exchange of goods and services.
A special place in the publications is given to the role of Romania as a “direct gateway” for Uzbek goods to enter the European Union market.
The authors of the Romanian publications quote the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, stating that constructive dialogue is the first and essential step toward building long-term business partnerships.
The authors of the publications also inform the Romanian business audience about the large-scale economic reforms underway in Uzbekistan and the creation of a favourable investment environment.
The articles specifically mention the invitation for Romanian companies to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF) in June 2026. The media report that the interactive networking sessions that concluded the forum have already enabled company representatives to establish direct contacts, paving the way for the implementation of new joint projects in industry, agriculture and IT.
