Russian “Channel One” airs special episode of the popular program “Chefs on Wheels” dedicated to the capital of Uzbekistan

• 69MOSCOW, January 20. /Dunyo IA/. A special episode of the popular Russian television program “Chefs on Wheels” (Povara na kolesax), dedicated to Tashkent, was broadcast on the widely watched “Channel One” (Perviy kanal) Russia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The feature on Uzbekistan’s capital was filmed in Tashkent from September 12 to 18, 2025, during a visit organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia in collaboration with the Tourism Committee, for the creative team of the “Channel One” Russia program “Chefs on Wheels”.
While in Tashkent, the renowned Russian chefs highlighted the gastronomic and tourist appeal of Uzbekistan as well as its rich cultural heritage, with the aim of encouraging greater numbers of Russian tourists to visit the country.
In the new episode, renowned Russian Chefs Anton Ivnitsky and Eduard Pogosov arrived in Tashkent, a city celebrated for its vibrant culinary traditions. They began their journey in the historic part of the city, visiting the “Kukeldash” Madrasa and the central square of the capital. At the end of the day, after sampling local cuisine, they took a hot-air balloon ride, experiencing the scenic beauty of Uzbekistan from above.
In the program’s finale, the chefs prepared special culinary creations on one of Tashkent’s most famous tourist streets, popularly known as “Broadway”, with local residents and visiting tourists sampling their dishes.
It is worth noting that the culinary show “Chefs on Wheels” enjoys widespread popularity among Russian viewers, with a total audience exceeding 18 million people.
