KUWAIT, July 14. /Dunyo IA/.  Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ayubkhon Yunusov met with the Assistant Foreign Minister of Kuwait for Legal Affairs Tahani Al-Nasser, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, parties exchanged views on further strengthening legal cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait, as well as developing mutual legal assistance in criminal, civil and commercial matters.

In addition, the prospects for creating a joint mechanism aimed at ensuring systematic coordination of bilateral cooperation at the level of the ministries of foreign affairs were discussed.

Parties also emphasized the importance of further expanding cooperation in the fields of air connectivity, smart cities, healthcare, trade facilitation, culture, and art, as well as the practical implementation of the achieved agreements.

During the meeting, an exchange of views took place regarding the prospects for simplifying visa procedures for citizens of Uzbekistan when traveling to Kuwait. The importance of continuing the dialogue between the relevant authorities on this matter was emphasized.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to consistently continue the dialogue in the legal sphere and further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
