Omani Media Representatives and Bloggers explore Uzbekistan's Tourism Potential of Uzbekistan during Familiarization Tour

MUSCAT, July 14. /Dunyo IA/.  A familiarization media tour was held for representatives of leading media outlets, bloggers, and influencers from Oman, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Initiative was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Tourism Committee and “Oman Air” airline from July 4th to 7th of this year and was timed to coincide with the launch of direct flights on the Muscat – Tashkent route.

Delegation comprised 15 representatives of leading Omani media outlets, popular bloggers, and influencers who command a significant social media audience and exert substantial influence on shaping public opinion and the tourism preferences of Oman's residents.

A comprehensive four-day program was prepared for the participants of the media tour, aimed at introducing them to the historical and cultural heritage, modern tourism infrastructure and active recreation opportunities in Uzbekistan.

As part of the program, the delegation visited key tourist sites in the city of Tashkent, including the Hazrati Imam complex, the Center of Islamic Civilization, “Suzuk Ota” and “Gulbazar” tourist attractions, as well as the Central Asian Plov Center, where the guests learned about the traditions of preparing the national dish.

Particular attention was paid to the country's modern tourist facilities. Participants of the media tour visited the “Amirsoy Mountain Resort”, as well as the Zaamin tourism cluster in the Jizzakh region, where they familiarized themselves with the active and ecological tourism infrastructure, including the “Sufa 2400” plateau, the cable car, the suspension bridge, the zipline, extreme recreation facilities, wellness complexes, hotels, and restaurants.

At the conclusion of the program, the delegation visited Samarkand, where they explored world cultural heritage sites, including the Registan ensemble, Mausoleum of Amir Temur, Bibi-Khanym complex, Hazrati Khizr and Siab Bazaar.

Throughout their entire stay in Uzbekistan, the participants of the media tour actively covered the program of the visit on their social media pages, publishing photos, videos, reports, live broadcasts and recommendations for potential tourists. The generated content achieved wide coverage among the Omani audience and contributed to forming a positive image of Uzbekistan as an attractive destination for cultural, family, ecological and active tourism.
