Culture of Uzbekistan promoted at events in Estonia

• 115TALLINN, August 28. /Dunyo IA/. Cultural and educational events dedicated to national culture have been held in the Estonian cities of Tallinn, Narva and Järva in cooperation with the “Humo” Uzbek Cultural Center, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Events were attended by compatriots residing in Estonia, representatives of the local public, figures of culture and art, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Estonia.
Within the framework of the events, exhibitions and presentations were held dedicated to the national culture, art, traditional music, and dances of Uzbekistan, as well as its historical and cultural heritage. The guests were presented with information about the history of the country, national values and modern cultural life.
Special attention was paid to the cultural heritage and tourism potential of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. The participants were also presented with samples of Uzbek national music, dances and cuisine.
Events were aimed at popularizing the culture of Uzbekistan abroad, developing cultural and humanitarian ties between Uzbekistan and Estonia and strengthening contacts with Uzbek compatriots.
