Uzbek Citizens in Novosibirsk Briefed on Their Labor Rights and Obligations During Outreach Meeting

NOVOSIBIRSK, September 20. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, together with representatives of the Migration Agency, held a meeting with Uzbek citizens working at a local catering establishment, as well as its visitors, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, compatriots received detailed consultations on consular and legal matters. Particular attention was paid to the rights of workers, including the timely payment of wages. Citizens were informed that in the event of unjustified delays in wage payments, they should immediately contact the Consulate General or the Migration Agency’s representative office for prompt assistance.

The diplomats reaffirmed the diplomatic mission’s commitment to continuing to provide comprehensive assistance, both in processing documents and in protecting the rights and legitimate interests of Uzbek citizens in the Novosibirsk region.

During the meeting, the diplomats promptly arranged material assistance for one of the compatriots and processed and issued a certificate for return to Uzbekistan.
