Uzbekistan and Syria Diplomats meet in Kuwait to discuss bilateral relations

KUWAIT, July 13. /Dunyo IA/.  A meeting was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan with the Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of Syria to Kuwait Tamim Al-Madani, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

At the beginning of the meeting, it was noted that Uzbek-Syrian relations have been developing consistently in recent times. Parties emphasized the importance of filling bilateral cooperation with practical substance and implementing joint initiatives.

In turn, Tamim Al-Madani stated that to accelerate the implementation of the proposals put forward by the Uzbek side to develop bilateral cooperation, he intends to maintain direct contact with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Syria in Damascus, as well as with other competent authorities. He also expressed his readiness to provide the necessary practical assistance in this direction.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue consistent work on the further development of Uzbek-Syrian relations, intensifying political and diplomatic dialogue and maintaining close interaction on matters under consideration.
