Charity dastarkhan organized for compatriots in Russia’s Leningrad Oblast on Eid al-Adha

A charity gathering was organized on the occasion of Eid al-Adha (Kurban Khayit) at the “Rencons” company in the village of Ust-Luga, Kingiseppsky District of the Leningrad Oblast, where about 700 citizens of Uzbekistan are employed in port construction, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was attended by representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Saint Petersburg and the employer. It was noted that the initiative to hold this event was put forward by the leadership of the state.
It was also emphasized that the Government of Uzbekistan pays special attention to compatriots abroad, creating conditions for their employment upon returning to the homeland, and supporting the establishment of their own businesses. Additionally, a preventive briefing was conducted for the participants, aimed at countering the influence of various destructive groups.
The compatriots positively assessed the organization of the event and expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the country. In particular, Isroil Eshonkulov noted that he was sincerely pleased with the attention shown to citizens far from their homeland and thanked the organizers for the festive dastarkhan.
Another participant, Yokutkhon Ibragimova, also expressed her appreciation for the invitation to the event dedicated to Eid al-Adha and extended her gratitude to the leadership of the state for such initiatives.
The event concluded in an atmosphere of sincere communication and warm wishes.
