Perspectives of implementing advanced practices of leading British Social Protection Organizations in Uzbekistan discussed in London

• 173LONDON, June 3. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation of Uzbekistan led by Khusniddin Kutbiddinov, Head of the Social Inspection under the National Agency for Social Protection, visited the United Kingdom, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of several leading institutions, including Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), Social Care Wales, Westminster City Council, Rix Inclusive Research Institute, Chelsea Community Hospital, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), Arup, and HealthCare UK.
During the talks, the parties familiarized themselves with quality control systems for social services, monitoring mechanisms and approaches to assessing the effectiveness of social support.
Particular attention was paid to the registration of social protection specialists, the introduction of professional standards, and the evaluation of the actual impact of social services on citizens' lives (outcome-based approach). The creation of an accessible environment for persons with disabilities and the development of inclusive urban infrastructure were also discussed separately.
Following the meetings, the participants agreed on further exchange of experience and explored opportunities for implementing advanced practices in Uzbekistan, as well as expanding bilateral cooperation in this field.
