MINSK, August 30. /Dunyo IA/.  Uzbekistan Melon Festival opened in the capital of Belarus on August 28, promoting the country’s rich national traditions and agricultural potential, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

As part of the event, visitors are offered various varieties of melons grown in Uzbekistan by "UzAgrostar" Holding, as well as fruits, vegetables and other national products. Guests also have an opportunity to learn more about Uzbek national cuisine, music and culture.

According to numerous festival visitors, the event contributes to strengthening the bonds of friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Belarus, promoting Uzbek national products more widely on the Belarusian market, and further developing trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
