MOSCOW, January 30. /Dunyo IA/. Today, The staff of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia, along with colleagues from the Trade Representation and the Migration Agency in Moscow, together with Uzbek compatriots, visited the Islam Karimov Square in the center of the Russian capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Participants of the event laid flowers at the base of the monument to Uzbekistan’s First President, Islam Karimov, paying tribute to their country’s history.
It is worth recalling that the monument to Islam Karimov in Moscow was inaugurated on October 18, 2018.
