TEL AVIV, June 20. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel held a meeting with Uzbek citizens temporarily employed in the country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the event, participants were informed about the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan at the initiative of the President, as well as efforts aimed at promoting employment and creating new jobs.

Particular attention was given to the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens working abroad. Compatriots received detailed information about available benefits and government support measures designed to improve the well-being of their families.

The meeting also covered events planned in Uzbekistan and abroad with the participation of compatriots in connection with the 35^th anniversary of the country’s independence.

In addition, participants exchanged views on promoting the Uzbek language and literature, preserving national cultural heritage, and raising awareness of the rich scientific and spiritual legacy of the great ancestors of the Uzbek people.

During the open dialogue, issues related to working and living conditions, timely payment of wages, and housing arrangements were discussed. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of obtaining the necessary documents for legal residence in Israel.

Participants also received explanations regarding labour relations, medical insurance, personal safety, and the need to remain vigilant against the influence of religious extremist ideas.

At the conclusion of the event, representatives of the diplomatic mission informed citizens about the consular services provided by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel. In particular, they explained the use of the “Consular Services” mobile application, which enables users to address various consular matters quickly and remotely.
