SAINT PETERSBURG, July 14. /Dunyo IA/.  An organizational session dedicated to the launch of the second stage of the joint educational program, implemented within the framework of bilateral cooperation between the Federal Tax Service of Russia (FTS) and the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan, took place at the “FTS LAB – Neva” educational venue, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the event, opening remarks were delivered by Deputy Commissioner of the Federal Tax Service of Russia Yulia Shepeleva, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Currency Control Elisey Balta, Head of the Professional Development Department Sergey Tokarev, and Rector of the FTS LAB Academy Ivan Efremov. The speakers emphasized the strategic nature of the partnership between the tax authorities of the two countries and the high importance of exchanging advanced practices.

Professional development program is scheduled for a two-week period—from July 6 to July 18, 2026; it is attended by 34 employees of the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan. The curriculum covers four areas: International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), effective negotiation technologies, personal efficiency of a state civil servant, as well as leadership and high-performance team building.

Launch of the current stage is a continuation of a large-scale educational initiative: in 2025, 99 employees of the Tax Committee of Uzbekistan underwent similar training on tax administration and taxation methodology.
