New Auto Service Center with Uzbek Workforce Being Established in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, June 22. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats of Uzbekistan led by Ambassador Nodirjon Turgunov visited the “Alif Motors” auto service center in Saudi Arabia, where Uzbek citizens are employed, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the visit, diplomats reviewed the center’s operations and working processes. Representatives of the center expressed gratitude to the Embassy of Uzbekistan for assistance with documentation, partner engagement, and participation in negotiations with relevant Saudi ministries and agencies.

The majority of the center’s workforce consists of Uzbek citizens. Employees are offered salaries of up to $1,500–$2,000 per month. The employer provides legal work visas and “iqama” residency permits, while also covering round-trip airfare, accommodation, and meals.

The center is currently operating in a test mode and is expected to begin full operations after the completion of documentation procedures and the resolution of work visa issues for specialists from Uzbekistan.

At the initial stage, the company plans to employ five specialists from Uzbekistan, with the number expected to increase to 20 in the future. The opening of branches in other Saudi cities is also planned as demand for Uzbek specialists grows.

“Alif Motors” intends to provide maintenance services for all types of passenger vehicles, primarily premium-class cars, including paintless dent repair (PDR) and car wash services.

During the visit, Uzbek citizens received consultations and consular and legal assistance. The Embassy reaffirmed its readiness to provide support to Uzbek nationals and encouraged continued engagement with diplomatic representatives.
