Stockholm hosts literary and educational evening dedicated to Navoi and Babur studies

• 34STOCKHOLM, February 17. /Dunyo IA/. A spiritual and educational evening dedicated to the birth anniversaries of the great thinkers, poets and statesmen Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur and Alisher Navoi was held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event brought together students studying in Sweden and representatives of the Uzbek diaspora. During the meeting, presentations were delivered on the lives and works of the distinguished literary figures, their rich artistic heritage and their roles as statesmen. Particular attention was given to the efforts undertaken by the Government of Uzbekistan to support compatriots abroad, preserve their national identity, and strengthen spiritual unity.
The program continued with a quiz dedicated to the lives and works of Navoi and Babur. Participants demonstrated in-depth knowledge of their extensive literary legacy. Following the intellectual competition, students who secured first, second and third places were awarded commemorative gifts from the Embassy.
The youth creative contest also generated lively interest: participants were tasked with composing rhymed lines based on selected words and presenting their own poetic works. In addition, thematic wall displays were prepared, illustrating the key stages of the lives and creative paths of Babur and Alisher Navoi.
The Head of the National Cultural Center at the Embassy, Zilola Yulchiyeva, emphasized that such spiritual and educational initiatives help strengthen the connection of the younger generation living abroad with their historical roots and encourage a deeper study of the legacy of their great ancestors.
The evening concluded with traditional national cuisine served to guests. The event was held in a warm, friendly, and inspiring atmosphere.
