TASHKENT, September 29. /Dunyo IA/.   Panel Discussion entitled “Dialogues of the Turkic World: Shared Future, Common Vision” organized by the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of Türkiye in cooperation with the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), has commenced its work in the capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Forum was opened by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of UWED Sodyq Safoev.

Event is being held as part of a series of panel meetings organized across the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) on the eve of the 13^th Summit of the Heads of State of the OTS, which will take place in Ankara.

The discussions are focused on the issues of strengthening mutual understanding and cooperation among the countries of the Turkic world, preserving and transmitting the shared historical and cultural heritage to future generations, as well as shaping common approaches toward the future.

Participants will review the implementation of the OTS Vision 2040, current regional and global processes, the development of economic and political cooperation, and the strengthening of connectivity. The agenda also encompasses interaction in the field of media and communications, digital transformation, countering disinformation, as well as the expansion of educational and cultural ties.

Special attention will be devoted to the opportunities presented by the digital era for shaping the shared future of the Turkic world. The participants will discuss the development of artificial intelligence and new communication technologies, combating disinformation and digital manipulation, and further strengthening cooperation among the Turkic states in the media and communications sector.

Meeting in Tashkent is expected to serve as a platform for exchanging views and proposals on topical issues of the Turkic world and will contribute to the preparations for the 13^th OTS Summit in Ankara.
