ULAN-UDE, September 29. /Dunyo IA/.   Consul General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk Aslam Akbarov held a meeting with citizens of Uzbekistan working in Ulan-Ude, capital of the Republic of Buryatia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Meeting was attended by around 60 compatriots employed at various enterprises and facilities across the city. They were briefed on the legislative requirements of the host country, as well as the procedures for contacting the Consulate General in the event of violations of their rights and legitimate interests.

Particular attention was devoted to consular registration and legal matters. During the reception, 17 citizens of Uzbekistan working at one of the construction sites in Ulan-Ude were placed on the consular register.

Consulate General also reaffirmed its readiness to provide compatriots with the necessary assistance in processing documents and protecting their rights.
