TOKYO, September 28. /Dunyo IA/.  International tourism exhibition “Tourism EXPO Japan 2026” has concluded its work in the capital of Japan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Within the framework of the exhibition, an official opening ceremony was held for the national stand of Uzbekistan, organized with the participation of the Embassy of our country, Tourism Committee and the National PR Centre.

National stand featured six tourism companies from Uzbekistan, “Uzbekistan Airways” JSC, as well as representatives of the national designer brand “Moel Bosh”.

Stand of Uzbekistan was located in the central part of the exhibition pavilion. It was decorated in the national style using natural wooden materials, drawing the significant attention of visitors.

Within the framework of the exhibition, meetings are being held with Japanese partner companies, during which the presentation of new tourism products and opportunities to increase the tourist flow to Uzbekistan are discussed.

National stand of Uzbekistan was also visited by the Chairman of the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) Yuji Hara, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Japan Erkinbek Osoev, Governor of Nevşehir Province of Türkiye Hüseyin Kök, as well as President of the Cappadocia Region Aydın Cem Aslanbay.

“Tourism EXPO Japan” is one of the largest international tourism exhibitions in Japan, held annually in cooperation with the Japan Tourism Agency, Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).

In 2025, the exhibition featured 1,350 companies and organizations from 82 countries and regions of the world, with the number of visitors reaching approximately 130,000 people.
