Hungary ratifies the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the European Union

BUDAPEST, May 18. /IA Dunyo/.  Hungary has finalized its domestic legal procedures regarding the ratification of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the European Union, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Budapest, Hungary has become the second country, after Estonia, to ratify this document.

To recall, on October 24, 2025, a solemn signing ceremony for the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the European Union took place in Brussels, in the presence of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the European Council António Costa and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
