FRANKFURT AM MAIN, June 8. /Dunyo IA/. A meeting dedicated to expanding the organized and safe recruitment of Uzbek citizens to the German labour market was held at the Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was chaired by the Chamber’s Director of International Business, Dr. Jürgen Ratzinger, and brought together representatives of relevant German institutions, as well as the management of WISAG, one of the country’s largest service companies.
The Uzbek side was represented by Gulnara Salimova, Honorary Representative of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan in Germany, and Vice Consul Bekzod Abdullayev.
During the meeting, German partners were briefed on the systematic measures being implemented in Uzbekistan to train specialists in line with the requirements of the German labour market, provide language training, and facilitate organized employment opportunities abroad.
For his part, WISAG company representative Nebojša Biskup highlighted the qualifications, work discipline, and professionalism of Uzbek employees successfully working at German enterprises, expressing interest in further expanding cooperation.
The parties also noted that the process of obtaining German visas for qualified specialists often takes a considerable amount of time, which negatively affects recruitment efforts. Representatives of the Chamber proposed taking measures to address this issue.
Following the discussions, a preliminary agreement was reached to provide foreign partners with information on Uzbek specialists who possess German-language skills. In addition, the German side announced its intention to examine systemic issues related to visa processing for Uzbek citizens and consider possible solutions.
