- Today, Uzbekistan is becoming a country that generates ever-increasing interest on the international stage and strengthens its positions. In recent years, the economy has demonstrated stable growth rates, with GDP growth reaching 6–6.5 percent.

Undoubtedly, a major role in this process is played by the large-scale reforms implemented by the country's leadership. At the same time, a young and promising population, the conditions being created for economic modernization, a relatively competitive workforce and a rich raw material base serve as a solid foundation for further development.

Particularly dynamic development of the IT and artificial intelligence sectors has become one of Uzbekistan's new economic priorities. The export of information technologies and digital services is expanding and potential of qualified specialists is growing. The fact that IT service exports exceeded $1 billion in 2025 testifies to the country's high potential in the digital economy sphere.

Reforms aimed at attracting foreign investments, improving the investment climate, and creating favourable conditions for the private sector also enhance the economic attractiveness of Uzbekistan. Tashkent International Investment Forum has become an important platform for engagement with foreign investors, international financial institutions and major corporations.

Historical and cultural heritage, the development of transport infrastructure and the creation of new opportunities for tourists strengthen Uzbekistan’s position as one of the leading tourism hubs in Central Asia.

Openness, pragmatism and a multi-vector approach are acquiring ever-greater significance in the country's foreign policy as well. The strengthening of good-neighbourly relations and mutual trust with neighbouring states, alongside the resolution through dialogue of issues concerning borders, water resources, transport and communications, as well as security, enhance Uzbekistan’s contribution to ensuring regional stability.

Uzbekistan possesses significant potential for expanding cooperation with the European Union in the fields of trade, investment, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, tourism, education and scientific exchange. In this process, Poland occupies a special place as an important partner.

Poland's experience in the fields of transport and logistics, energy, agricultural and food production, e-commerce, as well as accessing the European market, holds practical significance for Uzbekistan. Establishment of joint ventures, the attraction of investments, and the strengthening of ties between universities are capable of imparting a new substance to bilateral relations.

In the perspective of the next 10–15 years, Uzbekistan can be envisioned as a country with a young and competitive economy, which will become one of the key transport, logistics and investment hubs of Central Asia. The most critical growth drivers in this regard will be IT, artificial intelligence, industrial modernization, automotive manufacturing and the production of high-value-added goods.

Country's geographical location opens up opportunities for it to further strengthen its positions within the new transport corridors connecting Europe and Asia.

Taking this opportunity, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on the 35^th Anniversary of Independence.
