BEIRUT, July 15. /Dunyo IA/. At least 13 Palestinians were killed and another 18 injured in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing Anadolu agency.

According to the latest data from Gaza’s Health Ministry, hospitals across the enclave received the bodies of 13 Palestinians, including 12 people killed in the latest attacks and one person who died from previously sustained injuries. Several victims remain trapped under rubble and on roads as rescue teams are unable to reach them.

The ministry said that since the ceasefire came into effect in October 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,123 Palestinians and injured more than 3,600 others.

The latest clashes took place amid ongoing negotiations on the implementation of the second phase of the US peace plan for Gaza. Recent talks in Cairo, mediated by Egypt, Türkiye and Qatar, focused on issues including the disarmament of Hamas, the withdrawal of Israeli forces and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

According to sources close to the negotiations, no significant progress has been achieved so far due to deep mistrust between the two sides. Hamas has said it is not ready to move to the second phase of the agreement until Israel fulfills its commitments under the first phase, including the withdrawal of forces to the agreed line.

Meanwhile, tensions remain over Israel’s military presence in neighboring countries. According to “Axios,” U.S. President Donald Trump urged Israel to begin redeploying its forces from Syria and reduce its military presence in Lebanon.

However, Israeli authorities have repeatedly said that they intend to maintain a military presence in certain areas of Lebanon and Syria to prevent threats from armed groups. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to visit Washington on July 18 and meet with the U.S. president.
