Significant package of documents signed to enhance cooperation between Uzbekistan and India following talks at the Kuksaroy Residence

ТАSHKENT, August 30. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, following the high-level talks, a signing ceremony for bilateral documents was held in the presence of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, documents are intended to develop and deepen cooperation in trade and the economy, investment, culture and humanitarian affairs, and other areas.

They include:

– Joint Statement following the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi to the Republic of Uzbekistan;

– Cultural Exchange Program between the Governments of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of India for 2026-2030;\

– Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in Ayurveda and other systems of traditional medicine;

– Cooperation Agreement in higher education and scientific research;

– Cooperation Agreement in environmental protection;

– Protocol on conducting archaeological research at Fayoztepa and Qoratepa;

– Memorandum of Understanding on Economic and Financial Dialogue;

– Cooperation Program in tourism for 2026-2028;

– Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in geology and mineral resources;

– Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in archives;

– Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service;

– Agreement on establishing partnership between Samarkand region and the State of Gujarat.
