ТАSHKENT, May 15. /Dunyo IA/.   President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has arrived in Turkestan on a working visit, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, at Hazret Sultan International Airport, the distinguished guest was welcomed by State Counselor of Kazakhstan Yerlan Karin, Akim of the Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov and other officials.

Today, President of Uzbekistan will take part in the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States.

The heads of delegations participating in the summit are also scheduled to visit the historical monuments and cultural sites of Turkestan.
