TASHKENT, August 29. /Dunyo IA/. The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a delegation of Türkiye led by the Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our state, the distinguished guest conveyed sincere greetings and best wishes from the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to the Leader of Uzbekistan.

The issues of further developing a comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye and enhancing cooperation in the cultural, humanitarian, and tourism spheres were discussed.

The current high level of interstate cooperation was noted to be particularly satisfying. The volume of mutual trade and investment, cargo transportation, and business and tourist trips is growing. More than 90 flights are carried out weekly.

Particular attention was paid to continuing the intensive cultural and humanitarian exchange.

The importance of adopting the roadmap as soon as possible, launching institutional mechanisms for practical cooperation, holding days of national culture and cinema, promoting joint projects in art, protecting cultural heritage, unlocking tourism potential, and other priority areas was emphasized.
