ТАSHKENT, August 28. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Yangi Uzbekiston Park and laid a wreath at the foot of the Independence Monument, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, this magnificent complex reflects the centuries-old history of our people, depicting great scholars and renowned military commanders of the past, as well as significant events in the country’s development. Humo bird at the top of the monument symbolizes the ideals of freedom and goodness, as well as the noble dreams and aspirations of our people.

Ceremony, held to mark the 35th anniversary of our Motherland’s independence, was attended by representatives of the Legislative Chamber and the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Presidential Administration, Cabinet of Ministers, as well as members of the Tashkent public.
