TASHKENT, August 18. /Dunyo IA/. Today, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) is hosting an international conference titled “The Role of Parliaments in shaping an effective and strong social policy”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was organized by the Center for Foreign Policy Research and International Initiatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Institute for Advanced International Studies under UWED.

International Conference is dedicated to the practical implementation of the UN General Assembly resolution “Enhancing the role of parliaments in accelerating social development”, which was adopted on July 24^th, 2026, at the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
