ISLAMABAD, August 11. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation from the Pakistani specialized school “Aitchison College”, which trains young athletes, is currently visiting Uzbekistan as part of a training camp, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Camp was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan with the assistance of the Khokimiyat of the Tashkent Region. In addition to sports training, the Pakistani athletes are familiarizing themselves with the sights of Uzbekistan, as well as its tourism and cultural potential.

As part of the program, the guests visited the “Amirsoy” Mountain Resort, located in the picturesque mountainous area of the Tashkent Region. The young athletes familiarized themselves with the resort's nature, mountain air and surrounding landscapes, and demonstrated interest in the complex's modern sports infrastructure.

Such visits contribute to broadening the perception of Uzbekistani culture among Pakistani youth, strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of the two nations, as well as creating opportunities for the exchange of experience and the development of new contacts.

Visit of the young athletes is expected to further strengthen ties between the youth of Uzbekistan and Pakistan, expand cooperation in the field of sports and advance sports diplomacy between the two countries.
