ATYRAU, September 26. /Dunyo IA/. Representatives of Uzbekistan’s Consulate General in Aktau held an outreach consular session for compatriots in Atyrau, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

On September 22, diplomats considered requests from Uzbek citizens living in the Atyrau region and provided the necessary consular services. Citizens received new biometric passports and detailed guidance on document processing and consular and legal matters.

The diplomats congratulated their fellow citizens on the 35^th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s state independence and briefed them on the country’s ongoing large-scale socioeconomic reforms, achievements and measures to protect the rights and interests of citizens abroad.

Particular attention was given to social support during the outreach visit. In one case, diplomats travelled to the residence of an Uzbek citizen with disabilities and personally delivered a new passport.

The initiative was organized to make consular services more accessible and efficient, protect the legitimate rights and interests of Uzbek citizens and maintain regular dialogue with Uzbekistan’s citizens living abroad.
