Young compatriot presents the book "New Uzbekistan: The Path of Shavkat Mirziyoyev" to his peers in New York

NEW YORK, November 13. /Dunyo IA/. The book "New Uzbekistan: The Path of Shavkat Mirziyoyev", authored by prominent political scientist and Senator Kudratilla Rafikov, who also serves as the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, has attracted significant attention among audiences in the United States, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Earlier, the book was formally presented at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and at the United States Congress in Washington, D.C.. Currently, it continues to be showcased at numerous academic and cultural institutions. The work chronicles the extensive reforms and transformative changes implemented in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It has captured the attention of readers of all ages and is gaining wide international recognition for its insightful portrayal of the country’s development trajectory.
The international presentation of the book, organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in New York, was held in a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere. Among the participants was Jakhongir Amatjanov, an Uzbek student studying in New York, who took part as a young attendee, highlighting the event’s engagement with the country’s diaspora and younger generation.
Jakhongir, a fellow compatriot, is the son of Farrukh Niyazimbetov, President of the International Turon Federation in New York. Currently a 10th-grade student at John Dewey High School, Jakhongir shared his impressions of the book "New Uzbekistan: The Path of Shavkat Mirziyoyev" during the event, offering a youthful perspective on the country’s ongoing reforms and development initiatives.
"I had never truly reflected on how a single leader could shape the destiny of an entire nation until I read this book. The history of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s work has instilled in me a sense of strong will, foresight, and deep love for my people. The President’s efforts to restore the country and secure its rightful place in the international community have greatly motivated me to strive to be a worthy citizen of my homeland", - Jakhongir shared.
Jakhongir also recounted that he had discussed the book’s content and key themes during an English class at school. His classmates asked a variety of questions about Uzbekistan, and through the discussion, he became more closely acquainted with materials about his country available online, further deepening his understanding of Uzbekistan’s history, culture, and ongoing development.
Indeed, the book’s discussions on economic liberalization, attracting investment, supporting youth, and strengthening good-neighborly relations with Central Asian countries have also captured the attention of young readers, inspiring them to engage with the country’s reform agenda and development initiatives.
