Embassy of Uzbekistan invites fellow citizens in Malaysia to an Iftar

KUALA LUMPUR, March 14. /Dunyo IA/. An Iftar event was held in Kuala Lumpur for citizens of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was organized by the country's Embassy in Malaysia. It was attended by teachers and students, fellows of the “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation, representatives of the World Youth Association in Kuala Lumpur, as well as compatriots working in Malaysia. Opening the meeting, Ambassador Karomiddin Gadoev congratulated those present on the month of Ramadan.
During the event, participants were provided with information regarding opportunities for education and professional development for youth, as well as support measures for citizens residing abroad. Special attention was paid to the spiritual significance of the Holy month of Ramadan, issues of mutual respect, unity and maintaining ties between compatriots.
The meeting included an open dialogue between Embassy representatives and the participants, where compatriots were able to ask questions of interest to them.
Sarvar Gayratiy, a student at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), noted that such meetings provide an opportunity to meet and connect with students from various educational institutions.
Jaloliddin Patkhiddinov, a doctoral student at the University of Malaya and a fellow of the “El-Yurt Umidi” Foundation, stated that he plans to apply the knowledge and experience he has gained upon returning to his homeland.
Shakhzod Yuldashev, a master's student at UCSI University, emphasized that during the event, he met many compatriots studying in various fields.
Iftar served as a platform for exchanging experience, discussing academic and professional matters and strengthening ties among Uzbek compatriots in Malaysia.
