ISTANBUL, 24 July. /Dunyo IA/. A regular working meeting of senior representatives of the film industries of TÜRKSОY member states (International Organization of Turkic Culture) was held in Istanbul, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Culture Uzbekistan, the meeting, chaired by TÜRKSОY Secretary General Sultan Raev, was attended by a delegation from Uzbekistan led by Director of Cinematography Agency of Uzbekistan, Shukhrat Rizaev. Delegations from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, and other member states also participated.

The discussions focused on joint film production reflecting historical and national values, as well as on enhancing cooperation in the field of cinematography among Turkic-speaking countries.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on key areas such as strengthening cultural ties among Turkic peoples, organizing film festivals, and supporting emerging filmmakers across the region.
