Discussions on intensifying Uzbekistan-Malaysia cooperation took place in Kuala Lumpur

KUALA LUMPUR, April 5. /"Dunyo" IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoyev met with Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Ahmad Rozian Abd Ghani to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation, reports "Dunyo" IA correspondent.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for bringing bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level.
In particular, an exchange of views took place on the issues of intensifying political dialogue at the top and high levels, strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation, diversifying relationships in the trade, economic and investment spheres, as well as expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of agreements reached following the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov to Kuala Lumpur in February of this year.
