TASHKENT, July 18. /Dunyo IA/. During his visit to Kabul yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Together with H.E. Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, we held our first political consultations today in Kabul, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – We reaffirmed our commitment to regional connectivity, joint water management, economic cooperation, educational support, cultural restoration.

Uzbekistan will continue advocating globally for deeper integration of Afghanistan into regional and global processes that will ensure lasting peace, stability, and shared progress".
