Uzbekistan Discusses Education Quality and Global Standards at International Forum in London

• 336LONDON, May 11. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation from Uzbekistan took part in the international forum “Deep Dialogues – Business as unusual: leadership in international education transformation,” held in London, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was organized in cooperation with the British Council, Advance HE, and Universities UK International. It brought together higher education leaders, government officials, international experts, university rectors, and quality assurance organizations from 22 countries.
Uzbekistan was represented by Sardor Rakhimboev, Deputy Director of the National Quality Assurance Agency for Education. The forum focused on managing transformational processes in education institutions, expanding access to education while maintaining quality standards, and integrating digital technologies and artificial intelligence into learning systems.
Participants also discussed the development of transnational education, international academic mobility, financial sustainability of universities, and diversification of higher education activities. Special attention was given to global practices in inclusive education and gender equality.
As part of the visit, the Uzbek representative held bilateral meetings with officials from King’s College London, UCL, Regent’s University London, AMBA & BGA, the University of York, and SOAS University of London.
The talks focused on aligning Uzbekistan’s education quality assurance system with international standards, involving foreign experts in accreditation processes, expanding academic and institutional cooperation, and strengthening human resource capacity in the education sector.
