A Pakistani company is exploring investment opportunities in the agricultural sector of the Navoi region

NAVOI, May 9. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation from one of Pakistan's largest agro-industrial companies, “Samsons Farms”, has visited the Navoi region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The representatives from Pakistan are holding meetings with officials from the Navoi region and its districts to further expand investment and technological cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture.

Specifically, as part of the visit, the Pakistani business representatives held talks with the khokim (head) of the Kanimekh district, Ruslan Ruziev. The Pakistani side was provided with information regarding the ongoing transformations and investment projects in the Navoi region, particularly in the Karmana district.

The parties discussed prospects for agricultural development in the district, including crop cultivation, livestock development, and the implementation of modern agro-technologies. Special attention was paid to the effective use of desert areas, the introduction of water-saving innovative technologies and the production of export-oriented goods.

Specific plans for the practical implementation of investment projects, as well as for the introduction of advanced practices and technologies into the local agricultural sector, were defined during the meeting. Furthermore, an agreement was reached to launch joint projects as part of the cooperation and to coordinate further practical steps.

The activities of “Samsons Farms” are expected to contribute to strengthening economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, particularly regarding the wide-scale implementation of innovative approaches in the agricultural sector and the effective utilization of the potential of our country's regions.

The Pakistani company “Samsons Farms” specializes in the industrial development of agriculture. It operates in such areas as the development of desert territories, seed production, the cultivation of high-quality disease-free seeds, livestock development and the implementation of sustainable agro-industrial systems using renewable energy sources and water-saving technologies.
