Uzbek Delegation Holds Business Forum in Tochigi Prefecture

• 98UTSUNOMIYA, May 30. /Dunyo IA/. The “Business Opportunities and Human Capital of Uzbekistan” Forum was held in Japan’s Tochigi Prefecture, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event brought together more than 110 representatives of major Japanese companies, recruitment agencies and government organizations. The forum showcased Uzbekistan’s investment and economic potential, human resource capabilities, efforts to prepare young people for the international labour market, as well as ongoing reforms in the field of labor migration.
During the visit, a meeting was also held with Governor of Tochigi Prefecture Tomikazu Fukuda. The parties discussed prospects for expanding interregional cooperation in trade and economic relations, culture and humanitarian affairs, tourism and education.
As a result of the forum and negotiations, a number of agreements were reached on attracting qualified labour resources from Uzbekistan to various sectors of the economy, as well as expanding cooperation in workforce training and human capital development.
