NANNING, September 24. /Dunyo IA/.  A week-long professional development program for educators of Navoi State University was held in the Chinese city of Nanning, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the internship, organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Uzbek specialists studied innovative agricultural technologies, modern methods for increasing crop yields, development of seed production, as well as issues of cross-border trade.

Program included practical workshops, round tables and visits to the Guangxi Agricultural Vocational University, Modern Agricultural Industrial Park and “Maiyue” technology park.

Educators also participated in the conference titled “Agricultural Cooperation between China and ASEAN and Poverty Reduction”. Following the conclusion of the program, the participants were presented with official certificates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guangxi.

Concurrently, within the framework of the “CAEXPO” exhibition in Nanning, which has been held for 23 years, the national stand of Uzbekistan is operating. It features the tourism potential of the Khorezm region and products of domestic manufacturers.
