BUDAPEST, March 2. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Oybek Shakhavdinov, held talks with Professor Gergely Deli, Rector of the Ludovika University of Public Service, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Parties reaffirmed their mutual interest in deepening the partnership between educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Hungary, developing academic exchanges, implementing joint educational and scientific initiatives and promoting specialist training and professional development programs.

Rector of the university expressed readiness to visit Uzbekistan this March to conduct working meetings and discuss practical aspects of bilateral cooperation with relevant organizations and higher education institutions in our republic.

The sides emphasized that expanding Uzbek - Hungarian cooperation in the field of higher education aligns with the strategic interests of both countries and creates additional opportunities for developing scientific potential, academic mobility and training highly qualified personnel.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to continue coordinating joint efforts in the agreed areas of cooperation.
