MINSK, October 29. /Dunyo IA/.  On October 27th, a delegation from Tashkent Region led by Governor Zoir Mirzaev paid a working visit to Pinsk District in Belarus’s Brest Region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the visit, a promising joint project to develop dairy and beef cattle farming was presented at Stiskho Pinskoye LLC. The initiative is being implemented in partnership between “MARAQAND MEAT” LLC of Uzbekistan and “Stiskho Pinskoye” LLC of Belarus.

Meeting highlighted the dynamic development of economic cooperation between the two countries. More than four projects involving Belarusian entrepreneurs are successfully operating in Tashkent Region. Meanwhile, Uzbek investors have launched the construction of five projects in Belarus, two of which have already been commissioned.

Dmitry Gorodetsky, Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, expressed confidence that the friendly relations between Belarus and Uzbekistan would yield tangible results through cooperation between Tashkent and Brest regions. He noted that this partnership represented a practical implementation of the agreements reached at the Third Regions Forum and the Khiva Declaration, adopted in September this year.

Delegation also familiarised itself with the operations and advanced technologies of a modern dairy farm complex near the village of Chamlya, designed to accommodate 2,400 head of cattle.
