TOKYO, October 11. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats of Uzbekistan in Japan held an online meeting with Kota Tsunezuka, CEO of Japanese company “MURUUDUL Co., Ltd.”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The parties reviewed the results of the company delegation’s visit to Uzbekistan in September and discussed plans to train young people in Japanese language and professional skills required by the Japanese labour market, with a view to subsequent employment.
During the visit, the delegation met with the Agency for Vocational Education, the Migration Agency, and representatives of several technical colleges in Andijan, Samarkand and Jizzakh regions, as well as Tashkent. Following the talks, relevant cooperation agreements were signed and a roadmap for implementing the project was developed.
Particular attention was paid to preparing young Uzbeks seeking employment in Japan under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) programme. The parties also explored opportunities for vocational training for heavy truck drivers.
Preparations are currently underway to form the first training groups and launch classes. The initiative aims to enhance the professional skills of Uzbek youth, promote legal and sustainable employment opportunities abroad, and further strengthen practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan.
