-  I have been regularly visiting Uzbekistan as a tourist since 2014. Every time I visit this country, I watch with admiration the changes, updates and development processes taking place here.

Particularly over the past ten years, I have witnessed large-scale reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in the tourism sector. The number and variety of hotels have significantly increased, the necessary tourism infrastructure has been established and comfortable conditions have been ensured for travelers.

Most importantly, the language barrier has practically disappeared. Today, a foreign guest arriving in Uzbekistan can communicate freely in English, travel across the country and gain an even deeper understanding of its rich history and culture.

Uzbekistan is becoming an increasingly attractive and modern tourism hub. The number of tourists visiting the country is constantly growing. At the same time, this nation is transforming into an appealing and promising center for foreign investors. All of this testifies to the rising international prestige and economic potential of Uzbekistan.

Taking this opportunity, I sincerely congratulate the people of Uzbekistan on the main and most cherished holiday - Independence Day. I wish all citizens of Uzbekistan peace, tranquility, prosperity, sound health and further success.

May the relations between Uzbekistan and Kuwait, founded on long-standing friendship and mutual respect, continue to strengthen. I hope that our cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and tourism sectors reaches a new, higher level.
