HELSINKI, August 24. /Dunyo IA/. Embassy of Uzbekistan, jointly with the Central Asian Yulduz Society operating in Finland, organized cultural and educational events dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of Uzbekistan, Dunyo IA correspondent.

Events aimed to promote Uzbekistan’s national culture, art, musical and dance traditions among Uzbek compatriots residing in Finland and members of the local community, as well as to introduce international audiences to the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage.

As part of the “Night of Art” festival held in Helsinki, Uzbek national music and dance performances were presented, alongside cultural exhibitions and a tasting of traditional national cuisine. Participants had an opportunity to gain a closer insight into Uzbekistan’s musical traditions, national art and cultural heritage.

The “Magic Silk Road” international festival, which has been held annually for the past 15 years, brought together artists from different countries who presented their creative works. The concert program featured world music, contemporary interpretations of national values and cultural heritage. The exhibition and presentations dedicated to the culture of Bukhara Region attracted particular interest among visitors.

Artists from Bukhara Region delighted audiences with distinctive examples of Uzbek national music and dance. Performances by the creative groups were met with enthusiastic applause and received particular attention and appreciation from the participants.

Cultural events contributed to strengthening Uzbekistan’s positive image abroad and promoting the country’s national culture and art on the international stage.
