TEL AVIV, September 3. /Dunyo IA/. On the occasion of the 35^th anniversary of the independence of our country, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel organized a cultural and educational event for compatriots, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Particular attention was devoted to Uzbekistan’s achievements over 35 years of independent development. Participants were briefed on the country’s wide-ranging political, socio-economic, cultural and educational reforms, as well as progress in strengthening statehood, modernizing the economy, improving living standards, expanding international cooperation and enhancing Uzbekistan’s standing in the international arena.

The Embassy’s activities were also highlighted, with detailed information provided on social and legal support for migrants, safe and lawful residence and employment abroad, and access to consular services.

Speaking at the event, compatriots expressed their sincere gratitude to the government of Uzbekistan for providing opportunities to work abroad and for its continued support, including efforts to protect the legitimate rights and interests of Uzbek citizens in Israel.

They also expressed their intention to return to Uzbekistan in the future and contribute to the development and prosperity of their homeland.
