VLADIVOSTOK, September 9. /Dunyo IA/. In the regions of Russia’s Far Eastern Federal District, diplomats from Uzbekistan met with more than 250 compatriots working in various companies, as well as with heads of enterprises, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meetings, the working and living conditions of the citizens, the provision of catering, and the timeliness of wage payments were reviewed.

Compatriots were briefed on the primary activities of the General Consulate, emergency behaviour rules, and safety requirements. Information was also provided regarding the measures of social, legal, material and cultural support for citizens of Uzbekistan abroad, as well as the latest decisions in the field of labour migration.

Available vacancies were discussed with the heads of enterprises, and an agreement was reached on employing citizens of Uzbekistan in a number of positions.

Employers were also presented with information regarding the procedure for the organized and legal employment of citizens of Uzbekistan abroad, as well as the opportunities for cooperation with the Migration Agency.
