BAGHDAD, July 24. /Dunyo IA/. During a working visit to Iraq, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Al Kuwait Ayubkhon Yunusov met with the management of “Al Qalab General Construction Company”, as well as with Uzbek nationals working for the company, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting with the company's leadership, sides discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation, the provision of decent working conditions for the citizens of Uzbekistan, the protection of their rights, compliance with occupational safety requirements, and the recruitment of skilled specialists. Currently, more than 100 citizens of Uzbekistan are employed at the company, working predominantly as painters, welders and operators of specialized machinery.

At the meeting with compatriots, Ambassador discussed their working and living conditions, matters of wages and medical care, provided clarifications on citizens' inquiries, and recommended, taking into account the security situation in the region, strict adherence to personal safety measures and the requirements of the legislation of Iraq.
