SUZHOU, December 18. /Dunyo IA/. On the second day of the official visit to China, a delegation from Namangan region, led by deputy khokim Botir Nuritdinov, took part in the international forum “Tourism of Uzbekistan in China” held in Suzhou, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The forum addressed issues related to the development of the tourism sector, attracting foreign investment, and expanding bilateral cooperation in tourism. Participants were provided with information on the tourism potential of Namangan region, investment opportunities, and major ongoing projects.

Representatives of Chinese business circles and the tourism sector were invited to participate in the 65th International Flower Festival, scheduled to be held in Namangan region in 2026, opening new opportunities to strengthen cultural and tourism ties between the regions.

During the forum, a memorandum of cooperation was also signed with Hu Li, General Manager of the Department of International Relations of Suzhou Heping International Travel Agency Co., Ltd. The memorandum aims to expand tourism interaction through joint measures to increase tourist flows and attract Chinese visitors to Namangan Region.

Additionally, the deputy khokim of Namangan region delivered a special presentation highlighting the investment and tourism potential of the region, emphasizing the region’s readiness to expand international cooperation and strengthen partnerships in the tourism sector.
