RIGA, August 19. /Dunyo IA/.  A presentation dedicated to the tourism potential of Uzbekistan was organized at the international event titled “Rīgas draugi ciemos brauca” (“Friends of Riga Came to Visit”), held on the occasion of the 825^th Anniversary of the founding of the city of Riga, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the presentation, attendees were provided with comprehensive information about the rich historical and cultural heritage, unique architectural monuments and famous tourist destinations of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Shakhrisabz.

Furthermore, the conditions created in our country for the development of cultural-historical, gastronomic, ecological, ethno and seasonal tourism, as well as new itineraries being offered to tourists, were highlighted.

Another segment of the cultural program showcased exemplary specimens of traditional Uzbek applied arts, including ceramics, wood carving and national decorative arts.

Event generated significant interest among local residents and foreign guests in the tourism opportunities, cultural heritage and national values of our country.

Numerous participants expressed their intent to visit Uzbekistan, identifying our country as an attractive destination for their upcoming travels.
