Uzbekistan showcases tourism potential at International Exhibition “Otdykh-2026” in Minsk

• 125MINSK, April 14. /Dunyo IA/. The 28th “Leisure-2026” International Tourism Trade Fair was held at the “BELEXPO” International Exhibition Center in the capital of Belarus with the participation of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was attended by representatives of “Uzbekistan Airways” JSC, travel company “Okstours” and industry entrepreneurs. With the active assistance of the Embassy, a national stand was organized to promote the country’s tourism potential.
The stand featured information about Uzbekistan's historical and cultural heritage, modern tourism infrastructure, as well as opportunities in the fields of eco- and gastronomic tourism. Visitors were provided with detailed information about the country's ancient cities, its unique traditions and modern tourism services, generating high interest from the international audience.
As part of the event, the Embassy also organized a dedicated presentation of Uzbekistan's tourism potential. During the speeches, special attention was paid to the ongoing reforms in the tourism sector, infrastructure development and the expansion of international air connections. Uzbekistan's Tourism Ambassador Vasilina Mitskevich delivered a vibrant and insightful presentation, highlighting the country's natural beauty, national traditions, hospitality and key travel destinations.
In addition, a representative of “Uzbekistan Airways” JSC presented the airline's international flights, new routes and the amenities provided for passengers. To popularize Uzbek culture, a concert program was organized, featuring national music and traditional dances, which were warmly received by the participants and guests of the exhibition.
