“Travel Tomorrow”: A comprehensive overview of Uzbekistan’s tourism potential presented for Benelux Countries

A presentation of the country's tourism potential for representatives of Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg was held in Brussels with the support of the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing with reference to the Belgian publication “Travel Tomorrow”.
The event aimed to promote Uzbekistan as one of the most promising destinations for European tourism and to strengthen business contacts within the industry.
The presentation brought together representatives of travel companies, specialized associations, and business circles from the Benelux countries. Participants were presented with a comprehensive overview of Uzbekistan’s tourism potential - ranging from the rich cultural and historical heritage of the Silk Road cities to modern tourist routes and developing infrastructure.
Special attention was paid to the country's key tourism hubs, including Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, as well as new domestic tourism destinations. It was emphasized that Uzbekistan is actively investing in the development of its hotel network, transport accessibility, and customer service, making travel across the country more comfortable and accessible.
During the event, measures to simplify the visa regime and expand air connectivity were discussed, which is seen as an important factor in growing the tourist flow from Europe. Efforts to digitalize tourism services and promote the country on international platforms were also presented.
Participants noted a high level of interest in Uzbekistan as a destination with a unique cultural heritage, a safe environment and growing opportunities for educational and event tourism.
According to “Travel Tomorrow”, the presentation became a significant platform for establishing new business ties, discussing joint projects, and further promoting Uzbekistan in the tourism market of the Benelux countries and Europe as a whole.
